Feedback 1.

Ask more esoteric questions - like “How do people seep into one another through space?” This type of question will help you expand your site into something with potential beyond the office environment – it allows you to question it as a social and cultural space a space defined by hierarchy and various tasks begin performed – how the space contains and limit social interaction? Responding to these sorts of questions would let you be more imaginative and less focused on actual space constraints – you could look at Biophilic design and its potential to change space & interactions within spaces - it’s even used in office design

Feedback 2.

Ideas around Touch being a primary design tool for thinking about space and ‘Touch-down’ systems – could be extended a lot more by thinking more laterally – what if you had more plants – spaces separated by shadows not actual walls, the shadows would require lighting systems and could change as a the day changes – blue light for night time so people aren’t exposed to too much extraneous light, wellbeing by design… playing with ideas about touch and tactile design.

Feedback 3.

It was good to select a site you have a direct personal experience of – it gives you a real life connection – you understand how the space should and could work – but start to play with the potential of the space – you talked about Zones – make more of this idea - a driver for understanding space. Time zones for example – touch zones, social zones – conversation zones, work zones…. Your Site specific experience can be extrapolated out later on… connecting the office and the city… through surface, the tactile and touch

Feedback 4.

How are the 5 words related back to your plan...
Can you take decay into a space through transition and temporality, through surface and touch?
Productivity vs humanity.
